</p>
<p>I am a Research Assistant at MBZUAI working with <a href="https://scholar.google.com/citations?hl=en&user=WR1ImCMAAAAJ&view_op=list_works&sortby=pubdate" target="_blank">Prof. Monojit Choudhury</a> I am also an incoming PhD student at the University of Illinois, Urbana Champaign, advised by <a href="https://scholar.google.com/citations?user=GMcL_9kAAAAJ" target="_blank">Prof. Dilek Hakkani-Tur</a>. Previously I worked at the Bing Ads Team at Microsoft, where I worked on Dense and Generative retrieval for Ads Snippets.

<p> I graduated from Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur in 2021 with a bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering. While at IIT Kanpur, I worked with <a href="https://ashutosh-modi.github.io/" target="_blank">Prof. Ashutosh Modi</a> and <a href="https://www.cse.iitk.ac.in/users/arnabb/" target="_blank">Prof. Arnab Bhattacharya</a> </p>

My primary interest is in NLP. Currectly I am exploring cultural and ethical aspects of LLMs. I am also interested in post-hoc model editing, understanding the knowledge localization in LLMs. And wish to explore these more thoroughly in my PhD. I am also interested in Dense Retrieval, Retrieval/Tool Augmented Generation etc.
