What is the proper way to upgrade from a previous version? looking at the installer does this still need the backend server? How do i move my db from the old version to the new?

DB migration happens automatically. You just have to install latest version and finish onboarding. No data will be lost.

Please backup your existing db before you install to make sure there is no failure point.

For the version above 0.0.5, the db will be in

• mac OS :

~/Library/Application\ Support/com.meetily.ai/meeting_minutes.db 

• Windows :

%APPDATA%\com.meetily.ai\

Homebrew - ls /opt/homebrew/Cellar/meetily-backend/0.0.5/backend/meeting_minutes.db

We automatically create a backup. But this is just in case.
