• Added tone mapping support (Jellyfin doesn't really natively support HDR).

• TVSeasonProtocol.id is no longer the ID provided by the server.
• Use the TVSeasonProtocol's name instead of season number, and delete the season number field.
• System info is now its own view.
• New protocol: Displayable which ensures a data structure has an id, imageBlurHashes, and imageTags.
• Rename the TopShelf's advanced network protocol to TopShelfNetworkProtocol for clarity.
• Button functionality has been moved into the MediaCard to remove duplicate code.
• Introduced decodeFieldSafely<T: Decodable>(_ type: T.Type, forKey key: Key, default defaultValue: T, errBucket: inout [RError], errLabel: String) to safely decode JSON fields, and add errors to an "error bucket".
  • The error bucket is an array of errors that can be checked at a later date. This allows for JSON to decode as best it can, continuing even if there are missing/incorrect fields along the way.

Hi! This has been a long time coming! Jellyfin has not had a free TV app that worked well in any capacity in a while. I gave it five stars because it frankly deserves them. I also see a bunch of negative comments and I think those are totally uncalled for because it's such a great app especially as it's free. I have only two complaints and those are collections and trickplay images, as far as I can see they are not there. It is amazing that playlists are supported because we can't do that in Swiftfin so I really enjoy that but if you could add a collection support and trickplay support that would be awesome. Thank you a ton! I almost switched to Emby just because of the Apple TV app but I now won't have to! Thank you!

Collections aren't yet supported, I have a future release planned that'll better support the likes of playlists and collections. Trickplay images I looked into a bit, and it deserves more attention, but I think it comes down to how the stream is encoded on Jellyfin's side, but like I said, gotta look into it more. As far as negative comments go, I wouldn't call them negative, they're legitimate problems the app has, and I'm working to support as many people & libraries as I can. Early days still (somehow :P)
