OSS Sysdig has not seen a release in quite a while, and a lot has happened since then, with many improvements to falcosecurity/libs, upon which Sysdig is now built. Some changes are required to various parts of the tool, including the build process, to make the release and CI process work again and to create proper redistributable packages and images.
