Flashing ?

Hi
I just bought an ats-mini and would like to update it, I can build the firmware in Arduino but can I also flash from Arduino or can it only be done with the ESP software. Also It would be nice if there was some information about what libs to use. Thank you.

The best way to build the firmware is to use Arduino CLI - it automatically installs the necessary dependencies. You can use Arduino IDE, but you'll have to install the dependencies yourself. You can find the list here https://github.com/esp32-si4732/ats-mini/blob/main/ats-mini/sketch.yaml

Thank you for your answer but I got all that I'm not using Linux I'm using Arduino IDE 2.3.6 for Windows and normally I just flash from there but can I do the same with ats-mini or are there a special address mapping so I have to flash with ESP software, it is easiest just build and flash in Arduino. It was sketch.yaml info I was looking for too so thanks. Have a problem finding Platform esp32:esp32 (3.2.0) in the IDE ? Shouldn't it be something like esp32-s3 ?

Arduino CLI is available for Windows.

Yes OK but I do a lot of different stuff in VScode and then use the Ardrino IDE to build and Flash from.
I found a platform called "ESP32S3 Dev module" and it compiles fine so now I have to try if I can flash from the IDE.

Can't get a connection with the Arduino IDE but I can "Export Compiled Binary" and then flash with "ESP Flash Tool" and that works fine.
I just flash the "ats-mini.ino.merged.bin" from the build.
