Description

This PR normalizes the Docker Registry URL input, specifically removing any present trailing forward slash. This allows users to specify a URL with or without a trailing slash, whereas currently, trailing slashes were not accounted for and disrupted the string parsing producing incorrect results.

A test is added to ensure it can now accept URLs both with and without trailing slashes.
