Any way to install on non OS 26?

In the app store it says that mac os 26 is requiried. Since that just came out the other day I do not have any intentions of upgrading yet as this is my primainy work system. Is there any way to get it on 15.6.1?

You’re right — starting with WebSSH 30.0, macOS 26 is required. This release mainly includes adjustments for the new “Liquid Glass” interface, no big new features.

I completely understand not rushing an upgrade on your main work system. The good news is that macOS 26 has been pretty stable — I’ve personally been using it since June without major issues.

I’ll try to see what can be done, but please keep in mind that a lot of old UI and code had to be removed, and it’s very hard to maintain both “Liquid” and “non-Liquid” interfaces in parallel.

You still have some time before you really need to move, so no worries 🙂

Fully understand how much a pain that would be. I need to spin up a VM to test 26 against my own dev projects to make sure it doesn't cause any build issues just not enough time. If there is any way to release an older version for us not on 26 or multi version release that would be awesome. I don't deal with app stores so Im not sure how that works.

Is it possible for you to have legacy webssh in testflight?

Technically yes but it will stop working on first quarter of 2026 because Apple is requesting to upgrade the SDK needed to build apps.
