Easytouch issues and errors

I have implemented your integration in our RV and am having some trouble with it. Perhaps I’m missing part of the puzzle.

I have an EasyTouch 357 which controls a system with both a heat pump and a furnace (actually an Aquahot). The firmware is version 1.1.1.35. The thermostat is mounted about 10 feet away from the HA server and its bluetooth antenna. Other bluetooth integrations work well over a much longer distance.

For testing, I’m using the default climate control (as found in the integration page). The symptoms I’m seeing:

• Mode selection, temperature changes, and fan mode changes seem to fail frequently - more than half of the time.
• There is no separate heat pump mode vs furnace (“Heat” will turn on the furnace).
• There is a “Dry” mode, which I have never seen before. Curiously, it does seem to have set that on the thermostat, but had no effect. I cannot select that mode from the thermostat. Perhaps that’s for a different model.
• When changes DO take effect, they are delayed by anywhere from 20 seconds to a few minutes.

I see some errors in the log (attached) that may provide some clues, but I’m not sure how to address them. Overall, I feel like I must be missing something in my set up. Any suggestions?
