It looks to have changed in node 0.6.
Need a new release of zlibcontext to npm. For better or worse, this is effectively a node 0.6.0 library now.

I was working on some small refactoring for your great zlib bindings module. Could you please take a look at this and probably pull it into your repo after some changes?
I'm introducing here a ZLibContext interface, which will enable you to have multpile deflate/inflate streams, control manually stream reset and setup initial dictionary.
