v1.1 Testing Feedback/missing announcements #2

Description

@Vicorin

After playing Hand of Fate 2 for about 60 hours or so, I've noticed several things that don't read, in addition to the known issue about placeholder values.

Below is a list of everything I came across that was missing something or had some quirk that affected accessibility.

  • Not reporting resource value of pain or gain cards.
  • Not reading info for quest cards when they are revealed for first time.
  • Not reporting prices or sale value in shops.
  • Most monster cards are not read when they are revealed.
  • Optional choices are not read by screen-reader, including decisions for when to use companion abilities, items, and blessings used outside of combat.
  • Not reading the effects of blessings or curses, even when viewing full card info.
  • Not reading charges on artifacts.
  • No way to read map counters for challenge objectives (e.g. x out of 19 clues or x out of 40 corrupted remaining).
  • Not reporting new/updated map tokens (e.g. events added by other cards, or moving monster tokens like raiding parties in the Justice challenge, or the goblin hunting parties in the servant.
  • Not reporting tokens or their requirements on equipment and encounter cards.
  • Missing audio cues for blessings, curses, and equipment rewards in card gambits.
  • CTRL+R not working for me. (ps5 controller if that matters)
  • Locked companion cards make no sound and repeat the name of the Trickster. I had a hard time finding some of my other companions until I realized what was going on.
  • In the inventory, if you view items you can equip for a given slot, don't make any changes, and then go back to the inventory, the mod will report the first equipment card for that slot, whether it's equipped or no.
