Hello,
The company I work for has started a large data collection project this year in our machine shop. My team and I are all very new to this and still learning as we go so bear with me please. We have 35 machines that we are adding connectivity to using 3 different protocols (MTConnect, FANUC Focas2, and OPC-UA). These machines are all feeding data into a SIEMENS brownfield connectivity device then we are going through and distinguishing what data we actually need. On our newer machines that have protocols setup from factory things are going relatively well. We have a handful of older Mori Seiki machines (3 lathes 2 machine centers ranging from 2005 - 2011 build dates) that did not have any sort of protocol on them from factory, so we had DMG Mori do software updates on them. After the updates, we were able to verify connection to the machines but were not able to view any data due to it outputting in an old version of http. The tech that did the updates advised us to use MTC agent V 1.3 to gain access to readable data. This worked for a little while but now we have issues where when we view the current xml file everything just shows as being unavailable. Is this an issue where we need to be using a later version of the agent or is there other issues we may be running into? I'm open to any and all suggestions and if I missed any key information, please let me know!
Thank you!
