Get the optgroup label

when using the render-item option, the item has the optgroup as an index, but if you ever want to do anything to for example show the optiongroup-name together with the selected options, one needs the option group label.
Soooo ... how to get the optiongroup-label?

Ok, this seems to work (albeit a bit hacky):
