On May 24, 2024, my GitHub was flagged and I lost the visibility of my GitHub profile and all of my codes to the community.
I followed the GitHub guide (password change, two-factor authentication) and opened a Reinstatement request.
(ticket number #2814416). 3 weeks have passed since then and I have not received any feedback.
As shown in the support ticket, the maximum response time should be 7 days. I feel a little uncomfortable with my account being disabled since all my code can't be shared with other users.
My GitHub account is not just a personal asset but also a valuable resource for the entire open-source community. Over the years, I have developed and open-sourced numerous important projects that have gained significant traction, accumulating over 1,700 stars. These projects are widely used and relied upon by developers and researchers worldwide.
Furthermore, some of my repository URLs have been referenced in academic publications, underscoring the importance of maintaining access to these valuable resources. Losing access to my account would not only be detrimental to my personal endeavors but could also potentially hinder the progress of academic research and collaboration within the community.
I kindly request that you expedite the review of my reinstatement request and provide some feedback. Your prompt attention to this matter would be greatly appreciated, as it would allow me to continue contributing to the open-source community and ensure the uninterrupted availability of my projects for academic purposes.
