Im stuck(im a student in a web-design class and need assitane in getting my website up and runining)

Currently i have gotten to the point where i have linked everything to visua studio code, I also applied for the website name.

Now when i go to the actions tab and follow that to all workflows under that it states pages build and development. it send me to a workflow style chart with the website i applied for?

ultimately i did not because everytiome i open the site its not up and runining. do i have to add a web host or do i need to do something else?

Hey,

Make sure Pages is enabled: Go to your repository -> Settings -> Pages, and confirm that a branch (usually main) and folder (/root or /docs) are selected for deployment.

Check Actions logs: Under Actions -> Pages build and deployment, open the latest run and see if it completed with a green check mark. If it failed, click the red “X” to view the error.

You do not have an index.html file in your root and i checked your website, it says "ERROR: DNS_PROBE_POSSIBLE", so I reckon there are two issues.
