IPFS is a file network. More than IPFS, it would be important for them to adopt LIBP2P for communication between peers. However, they consider themselves too special for that; they'd rather create their own futility from scratch than adopt and contribute to a mature project. Also, Jack and others are Bitcoin maxis and refuse to implement technologies that are popular in the Ethereum ecosystem, even if those technologies aren't part of Ethereum. |

The project is open source we can just make a derivative of it anyway. |

Go is great for networking and the IPFS project has a SDK which runs libp2p under the hood, I wonder what possibilities could arise from this intersection.
