Hi @GallVp ,

As discussed, it'd be good to consider alternative methodologies for phasing and its QC. Maybe not practical to investigate/implement all of them, but a few will be awesome.

1. HiC: under investigation
2. pore-C: I've told it worked better than HiC (but much more expensive)
3. Genetic maps: under investigation
4. ONT super-long reads
5. Optical mapping: Not sure if it's still active in use for genome assemblies and how helpful it could help phasing QC
6. Kmer-based: at reads level or contigs level?
