Fix 5186 type checking renegerate code

feat: restore type checking support in generated code

• Restore code removed in feat: modifying code generation to reduce bundle size #4978.
• Finishes closing v6.1.0 breaks Pylance highlighting and produces errors #5186.
• Depends on feat: restore type checking portion of code generation #5198.

updated to remove sys imports and check again version 3.7
