<p>他的前作 <em>Guerilla</em> 我印象中也不錯，但沒有像這張一樣讓我印象深刻。照 <a href="https://thequietus.com/quietus-reviews/album-of-the-week/demilitarize-nazar-review/">The Quietus 說的</a>，確實是有點像 Burial 從同名專輯到 <em>Untrue</em> 之間的轉變那樣。Kuduro 音樂（或是大部分的非洲節奏音樂）在我印象中都會想辦法把節奏放在歌曲的前景中，但在這張專輯裡面反而是更像是一些聽覺上的提示，而更明顯的是電子音樂的旋律片段剪接。有些歌像是 “Unlearn” 甚至聽起來有點像是 Sampha 或是 James Blake 在唱歌，但是歌都是由 Burial 做的。喜歡 Arca、 Burial 或是 Príncipe 廠牌的一定會愛這張。</p>

<p>Pub 出的 <em>Do You Ever Regret Pantomime?</em> 我很喜歡，是那種很好聽的 ambient techno。這次的專輯整張聽起來比較帶些詭譎的氣氛。第二首歌 “error floor” 是聽起來鬼鬼祟祟的 dub techno，一開始覺得蠻酷的，但聽久了會有點太催眠。第三首 “thought fool” 有很尖的高音 hihat，接近十分鐘的大作，直到歌曲尾段時節奏才慢慢減少，整首歌的推進感也慢慢收斂後無縫接到下一首 “relentless”。這首又回到類似的節奏跟氛圍，不過少了那麼刺耳的 hihat，整體也更扭曲一點，我覺得算是專輯裡最精彩的段落。“reel eyes” 則是純合成器音樂，前半段像配樂一樣很有氛圍，但後面漸漸變得怪怪的，旋律也開始變得懸疑。最後兩首跟開頭比起來比較像小品，選用一些比較少見的音色。我反而覺得最後一首 “closed” 是整張聽感上最有趣的一首。</p>
