To use on nix os

• run nix-shell command to enter the environment
• run ./build-env.sh to build the dependencies
• run run.sh to run the dev server

To use on other os

• can comment out first line in build-env.sh to build
• this hansn't been tested in a while so not sure if it's drifted away from working
