I encounter an error when calling the "createTransaction" method.

Fatal error: Uncaught Exception: Arweave API - Unexpected response (0)

My code is strictly identical to the example.

Is the node IP address provided in this example still valid? Is there a list of node addresses?

You most likely run into a cURL error.

Try to use

$arweave = new \Arweave\SDK\Arweave('https', 'arweave.net', 443);
