Gerber export ignores value layer designator

Describe the bug
I designed a PCB where for some components I wanted to show the value on the front silkscreen. I assigned the front silkscreen layer to those values, see screenshot.

Here I have assigned the front silkscreen to the value Boot.

When using the KiCad built in Gerber export the front silkscreen includes this Boot value, while using the KiCAD JLCPCB Tools Plugin Export does not include this Boot value.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Assign the front silkscreen to a component value
2. Assign a JLCPCB part number
3. Export the project using the KiCAD JLCPCB Tools Plugin Export
4. Check produced front silkscreen gerber file

Expected behavior
I expected the front silkscreen to include the component value
