Introduction - simplifying and standardizing some basic language.

I've opened this to provide a way to feedback/suggestions on the docs.
Further commits will be added for the other docs (at my time allows)

Thanks @mrlacey, I had @Sergio0694 create a PR from his docs branch, looks like you had a similar idea. Did you want to get these suggestions merged over into his branch and continue further items in #2?

will move my changes over to the other PR.
I started this so there was somewhere I could make changes inline
