We register external applications, like "Text Editor" for txt, dat, ... file extensions, calling "gedit":
But nothing happens when trying to open a *.txt file in the file browser.
I'm pretty sure that when it worked, "Text Editor" would also be listed in the Help/About/Details/Application Features, where it's now missing.
