I create this issue to make people aware that, when the Waterfall Plot widget is running in some display, there is an issue with the Navigation Tabs widget (on potentially another display!) on the master-branch between September 3 and September 12.
The bug was introduced in #3520 and seems to have disappeared in #3544.
The bug I have observed is the following: When the Waterfall Plot widget is running, and if a Byte Monitor widget or a Linear Meter widget is part of an OPI that is displayed in the Navigation Tabs widget (on potentially another display than the Waterfall Plot widget is running on!), then in perhaps ~30% of the times the tab is opened, the widget will update very seldomly, perhaps at 20 or 30 second intervals or so. This can be observed by connecting the widget to a simulated PV of the form sim://ramp(1,10,1).
