Description
Hi
I know this is an independent project, and I know is hard to keep up with compatibiliy with Android devices. So kudos for your effort. My main problem is that I can't acces images from outside the Linux container where Inky is running. I ignore if its your code or the fact that you are deploying it within UserLand, which gave me many headaches when I installed Debian using userLand, and any time I tried to change any basic configurations to the screen or even the wi-fi, the Android OS started fighting me back because of changing or giving permissions, and stop working in all the aspects I gave permissions inside the userLand container, so my intuition tells me it is related to this problem. So, I don't know if its a problem for you to solve, but it affects the correct functioning of Inky. Because without being able to import image files from the storage I will stay unable to trace any image, which is the main reason I'm following your project. The price you charge is not high, but without this function, Inky is just an unstable SVG drawing app. So I really hope you solve this. Because ten years ago in a Samsung Galaxy Note 2014 11" . I was thrrilled when I discovered Inky, so I paid for it, and I was dissapointed with the same problem. Nowadays, more than 10 years afters, it feels exactly the same, so, have you done anything with it? Any improvement? Inky can be a beacon of light in these software dark times, where having any software running locally on the device seems quite a luxury, even if the masses don't appreciate it. So please, work on this situation, and if you aren't going to solve or work on it. Just end this project.
Thanks for your time and effort.
