[Bug]: frequency not displayed in GUI or explorer

Describe the bug

the operating frequency is not displayed in the GUI or on the explorer map

To Reproduce

1. Click the frequency box in the top right (says NaN kHz)
2. Enter a frequency like 10140000

Expected behavior

1. The frequency is displayed on the GUI and the explorer map, so people can find operators and tune in.
2. The scale is consistent with the MHz scale in listed frequencies, but entry is in units of (1) Hertz.
3. I also expected a 30m frequency to be listed but can not find one.
