[Feature]: File explorer to show dotfiles and be able to change directories

Problem or use case

In file explorer I cannot edit the dotfiles in a directory. Additionally, sometimes when in a project I need to edit/see the dotfiles that are in my home directory. There should be a toggle to change my dir, and by default you should show dotfiles. A toggleable section in the 'feature' settings menu can turn that off.
