This looks like a classic semantic retrieval drift -- even though the error message says 'torch' has no attribute 'uint64', the deeper issue is that the model is referencing an embedding path that looks "close" but is semantically off.

We actually categorized this as Problem No.1: Hallucination & Chunk Drift in our diagnostic system.
It happens when high cosine similarity tricks the system into thinking a chunk is valid, even though it semantically diverges.

We built a reasoning engine to handle these kinds of errors -- open source (MIT), with full semantic traceability.
The author of Tesseract.js even starred it recently, so it’s not just theory.

I spent several hours on this today, but I couldnt reproduce the issue.
Here is my env. The version of safetensor is 0.5.3. May this version solve the problem?
