Summary

PR #6 (rename to unscoped npm name) reverted the previous Upay framing back to "SUMIT / OfficeGuy / Upay" alongside the package rename. Reapplying that fix on top of current main.

SUMIT (formerly OfficeGuy) is the billing platform. Upay is a separate company acting as one of SUMIT's downstream card clearers — SUMIT can also route through other processors. The technical surface is unchanged: Upay_* codes still appear inside SUMIT response bodies, so redactSensitiveText continues to mask them. Only the framing in README/CLAUDE/API reference/package.json description changes.

Test plan

  • pnpm test — 13/13 passing
  • pnpm typecheck clean

🤖 Generated with Claude Code

SUMIT (formerly OfficeGuy) is the billing platform. It delegates card
clearing to partner processors — Upay is one, and SUMIT can route
through others. Previous docs treated SUMIT/OfficeGuy/Upay as three
names for the same product, which is wrong.

The technical surface is unchanged: Upay-prefixed error codes still
surface inside SUMIT response bodies, so `redactSensitiveText` continues
to mask them. The framing in README/CLAUDE/API reference/package.json is
now accurate about what SUMIT and Upay each are.
