App Component: Money Requests

Action Performed:

1. Go to staging.new.expensify.com
2. Open FAB > Create expense.
3. Click on the currency.
4. Press keyboard down key.
5. If there are other currencies in Recent list, press keyboard down key until it reaches All section.

Expected Result:

The selection will move to the next currency.

Actual Result:

The selection moves to the next currency, then back to the selected currency.

When navigate currency using keyboard, currency focus reset to previously selected item.

What is the root cause of that problem?

When navigating using the keyboard and scrolling occurs, the previously selected currency is focused because the item heights are recalculated.

Just so you know, for Deploy Blockers we normally look for the source PR that caused the problem so that the author & C+ of that source PR can write up the fix. From your suggestion, it looks like the PR that introduced that linked useEffect is #54457
