On Android, selecting the first item from recents section, scrolls the list and hide the selected item (source: #7702)

Probably not a blocker because it's a known limitation of #7702

The limitation is applicable for touch events on all platforms and not just Android. We should get it fixed in this new ticket.

Hm, I'm a little confused by this issue as the original reported issue isn't on Android but I'm also not able to reproduce it. Mind clarifying for me how this relates to Android?

I think @rushatgabhane was trying to say that #7702 has a similiar known limitation on Android, but I'm not sure this is related, might be...

Yes, I can confirm that this shouldn't be a deploy blocker but a separate ticket. It was a bug we knew about in #7702 that we decided to fix separately because that PR was so big already.
