1. Open the App
2. Login with any account
3. Tap on FAB -> Request money -> Scan
4. Verify camera permission alert appears with allow/don't allow options on IOS and with 3 options in android
5. Select don't allow
6. Click on Capture or Continue button and a verify a modal opens which has settings option.
7. Go to settings and allow camera permission
8. Come back to app and open the Scan page.
9. Verify camera is available.

@aldo-expensify @thesahindia, the implementation works fine on both android & ios devices but there is a minor issue in android, when the app doesn't have any input for the camera permissions from users and user goes to the scan tab, we show the default permissions alert, the default permission value is denied and if the user don't allow it will be set to blocked but on the android device the blocked status it not set when the user denies for the first time, it's been only set to denied when user denies for the second time. So when user has just installed the app on android and goes to scan tab for the first time it shows the permissions alert and if he denies the app works fine, the issue happens when the user closes the app and re-opens again and then goes to scan tab, the permissions alert will be show and if he denies now, the app data of the permission will be correctly set to blocked this time and afterwards no matter how many times he re-opens app the alert will be not shown until he clicks on the capture button or continue button.

If we want to change this I can spend more time, but I already have spent more than enough time on this :)

Agree, it sounds like an issue coming from Android and I don't think it is worth it to try to go around it if it is too complicated. Just please leave a comment in the code saying that.
