Explanation of Change
Legacy report actions (e.g. card-imported expense updates) can store a plain string in
originalMessageinstead of the expected object. When the JSinoperator is used on these string values (e.g.'deleted' in originalMessage), it throwsTypeError: Cannot use 'in' operator to search for 'deleted' in <string>becauseinrequires an object operand.This adds
typeof originalMessage === 'object'guards before everyinoperator usage onoriginalMessageacross 6 files. This pattern is already used in ~6 other locations inReportActionsUtils.ts.Fixed Issues
$ #83937
Tests
Offline tests
N/A - this is a defensive type guard, not a network-dependent change.
QA Steps
// [No QA] - Mechanical type guard addition. The fix prevents a crash on a code path that already handles the falsy case correctly. No UI or behavioral change.
