Currently I estimate the supported resource pack to be in the 10-20 range: 3 directly depend on it on CurseForge and 5 directly mention it on Modrinth. Other resource packs that mention "CIT" usually just refer to the vanilla featureset since 1.21.5+.

Mod itself has a lot of downloads on Modrinth - 425k vs 11k on CurseForge. I assume this is due to other modpacks simply misunderstanding what it does (it is not a direct replacement to CIT Resewn). However, it can be useful for actually gathering popularity to the mod to see if resource pack makers do care.

There is also a logistical issue at the moment - CurseForge listing has not been updated since Dec 1, 2025, while Modrinth one was updated even today. I've mentioned it to the dev in an issue.

All being said, mod will not be considered just yet but maybe in or after Minecraft 26.1.

The original post completely negated to mention the biggest reason we use Variants CIT, and that it isn't supporting dated packs, but rather that Variants CIT is the only way to get armor and elytra CIT fully working. This mod needs to be added for that reason,
