What it does

Optimizes the client performance by offloading event polling to a separate thread, making available more CPU time for the render thread.

Why should it be in the modpack

Improve FPS stability when turning the camera

Why shouldn't it be in the modpack

Mods that use native code to deal with the window will probably be incompatible, but such mods are rare and an API is provided to resolve this.

I imagine this mod isn't that useful. In the latest versions, Mojang has refactored rendering systems for multi-threading. There are no tests yet that prove the stability of FPS (0.1% or 1% Low).

That's not correct. Mojang is refactoring the rendering system for multi-threaded rendering. There is no such plan, afaik, to implement threaded event polling. In the current latest version (1.21.11), if you test it, rendering and event polling happen on the same thread.

Also, by FPS stability I mean more of the FPS while moving mouse vs. the idle FPS. For example you might have 500 FPS but when you start to move your mouse it drops to 300. It's less about improving the 0.1% or 1% FPS (it won't hurt it of course), but about making sure the FPS does not drop when moving the mouse.
