I dont think this needs to be a whole separate note. Adding it as a bullet point to the "Before your Pull Request" list is good enough

It isn't compatible with our license
i dont think this is true
Some ai tools have had issues where they copy open-source code without proper attribution (/ were trained on some GPL code). Would "It can be incompatible with our license" work? Or should I remove this statement? |
I dont really see how that is relevant in the context of opening a PR. Maybe im misunderstanding so feel free to enlighten me though |
(I'm not a lawyer but) It's more of a legal reason why AI slop contributions shouldn't be accepted if someone complains/is annoying about it But, they'll be banned if that 's the case so it shouldn't need to be included (I'll remove it) Thanks for the quick review ❤️ |

Apparently the new AI agents like harassing open-source devs (https://theshamblog.com/an-ai-agent-published-a-hit-piece-on-me/) so I thought it'd be a good idea to include this in CONTRIBUTING.md (There's also a comment that's part of the PR template but it isn't as noticeable)
