I just wanted to say thanks to everyone for the great comments towards FreeTube so far. Feedback has been generally positive and the future is looking good for FreeTube. I will be continuing to improve on FreeTube as the weeks go by and do releases as necessary. I will try to keep some sort of schedule but no promises. Thanks again for everything!

This marks the release of Version 0.1.1 Beta, which includes the following:

Changes

  • Import now supports OPML files
  • Fonts, icons, and part of the API JS are now stored locally to reduce server calls.
  • Mouse now disappears after a couple of seconds when hovering over the video player.

Windows

  • You can now find the icon once installation is finished.

NOTE: Packages are not yet signed. Your OS may warn you about installing FreeTube stating that it is unsafe. Please know that FreeTube is safe and no viruses or malware are included in the packages. Those concerned with this are welcome to compile the application themselves until I can get the packages properly signed.
