Why I do not see the <1> button?

I have added my User command as described here:

Ok, but I still do not see the button <1> in the Menubar. How to display it?

I have this problem too. It seems, at least in my VS Code, that there is only so much space reserve for the menu.
I can only have 8 buttons/icons visible at a time.
When I start disabling the default/standard buttons, my custom buttons become visible.
