As the security manager from Java is deprecated and there is no plan for a replacement (yet) (https://openjdk.org/jeps/411), it should be removed.
This allows code to be run on Java 18+ (which currently sends a warning on Java 17 and crashes on Java 18+ (unless a JVM parameter is set)).
