Most examples were not updated ever since 0.6.0

Any plans to make them up-to-date?) I'd like to use this lib for my app, but it's kind of hard when nearly all examples are either broken or outdated :(

Yep. It's hard to use this library version 0.11.0 because even the simplest example doesn't work!
