SpotiFLAC is a lossless music download system with frontends for most major OSes, a CLI client and a Python library (which would probably work best in this usecase).
According to the developers of SpotiFLAC; "Get Spotify tracks in true Lossless from Tidal, Qobuz, Amazon Music, Deezer & Apple Music — no account required". This would be a guaranteed lossless download source, instead of yt-dl, and soulseek which has other issues as well.
Plus my current library is fully lossless and I would like to keep that going once I move to self-hosted.
