I deleted the previous branch and PR #494 because my fork had from upstream (develop), and attempting to resolve the conflicts directly introduced unnecessary merge commits. To avoid a messy history and simplify the review process, I synced my fork’s develop branch to the latest upstream and created a fresh branch with only the intended changes.
