Overlooked use case: mapml-viewer / map[is=web-map] is itself inside a shadow root #931
Description
Have been testing out how to integrate mapm-viewer with this application (source), by replacing OpenLayers' use with mapml-viewer.
The first issue encountered is the assumption by our code that <mapml-viewer> is itself in light DOM, and many issues are encountered with, especially (so far): getMapEl() and getLayerEl()
