I'm a data-obsessed graduate student at Brigham Young University earning my masters of information systems management and working at the intersection of data engineering, analytics, and software development (building APIs).
I care deeply about doing things the right way. That occasionally means I take an extra beat before diving in, but once I start, I am the kind of person that just can't stop tinkering. I love taking initiative and owning problems end-to-end. And more than anything, I crave feedback. Without outside perspective, you're just optimizing in a vacuum.
I don't just write code, I try to have fun tinkering with hardware too.
๐ฅ๏ธ Built my own PC before RAM got expensive โ component research, assembly, cable management, fun stuff.
๐ฎ Flashed new firmware onto a handheld emulator to unlock more of its potential.
๐ Flashed a router with firmware because I accidentally turned it off while it was updating. No need to call the geek squad, I can do it myself.
๐ Set up a home server running Linux for local hosting and experimentation.
I like understanding systems at every layer.
If something here caught your eye, let's talk.
