Yubi during install?

Question,

What would be the preferred way of bootstrapping a host where the gpg/ssh key used for secrets are on a yubikey. i.e, gpg-agent etc needs to be setup _before_ applying something like htis config? I see the devshell with some of the required packages, but gpg-agent is not running, so my yubikey is not detected.
