Problem

our GBL instance is 3 majors behind and our dependencies are blocking the ingest of new data.

Solution

  • spin up a new GBL 4 on Rails 7/Ruby 3
  • port over custom configurations
  • overwrite old application code
  • add a11y tests (and accommodate them when required)
  • add capistrano for deployments
