Oolite performance limited to 30 FPS on Ubuntu 24

While on some systems Oolite performs well, on my system it is quite laggish although the old verson was not.
Where does this come from?

I performed vanilla installations, no tweaking to unlock high FPS and could see huge differences in our releases already. Here is the list:

Have you got the log files for each of those runs? It would be good to know which graphics driver was in use by Oolite, the Intel UHD Graphics, or the NVIDIA one.

To summarize, I have a two graphics adapters three screen setup.

Nvidia -> Screen 1
-> Screen 2
Onboard Intel -> Screen 3 (primary screen)

Oolite detects the Intel graphics adapter and runs Mesa, which AFAIK is a software OpenGL driver. With that emulation I can move the game window across all three screens. Is it compatibility that is dragging me down?

There does appear to be a performance issue when using the Intel drivers that is not limited to OS. On my Windows laptop with Intel UHD Graphics, I got these results:

I installed the control panel following https://hatchjs.com/nvidia-control-panel-linux/.
While I am not yet sure how to assign a GPU I noticed the control panel shows all three of my monitors to be connected to the Gefore. I crawled under the table - and the tool is right!

I will deactivate the onboard graphics in the BIOS and try again.
