weak torque cause direct drive #8
Description
at the moment, we are using a low-cost brushless drone motor which is cheap (30$) as direct-drive,
but at a cost of low torque (can't carry anything, vehicle is only usable for reconnaissance)
a brushless motor with a planetary gear will icrease torque up to 4-6 times, but they cost much for example
just like the mini cheetah actuator (200$).
hopfully prices will drop soon cause my impact drill which has a planetary gearbox and a brushless motor, esc, bms, battery and costs 70$
