Tasks are no longer displayed when rejoining the server

Every time I rejoin my server, I have to fast-forward an hour for the tasks to reappear, and then I have to complete all the previously completed tasks again.
Additionally, when I click "Change Mode (X)," an error message appears in the view, and the game almost crashes.

Attached are my client logs, the server logs since the mod was installed on the server, and the Tasklist.xml file.
The LUA call stack has only been there since I added the Tasklist mod.

Could you be more specific? There's a number of log files and I don't see any error easily relating to task list

Could you also confirm the version in use? There are updated versions on this site.

Lastly, hourly tasks showing up is usually husbandry/food related tasks, they automatically show up each hour if they are due, even if previously completed. Similarly they will auto disappear on the hour if no longer due (e.g. you topped up food).

The change mode issue has been reported in older versions but I've never managed to replicate it so far.

This also relates to fill types changing with the update. Apologies for the inconvenience. This release should increase the safety and allow you to load without issue:

You might find some tasks where fill type ids have changed are dropped and you need to recreate them. There's no way I can avoid this, but it shouldn't happen again in future.

Im updatet now on 1.1.0.13 and i have the error

the rest works now.
The Problem is now in cant connect to the Server after i restart him.

And if I delete activeTaks in the XML it works again but they are gone. In addition, all groups are then gone and all the tasks. I have to add it all again and all begin again....

@Prime164 I would try and recover your task list xml from a previous save. In this one there are groups but no tasks. I released the following to help with the error you posted:

If i connect to the Server all tasks are gone. When i create new and reconnect also there were all gone.
And I also have Lua Callstacks , but it only comes when I have activated the Taskslist mod

This should load (I tested it and loaded the xml you provided). I would still go find an old xml file from save backups as you have no tasks, only groups.

Hi!

I tried updating to version 1.2.0.0 due to the other issue i posted.
I now ran into the same problem - "Error: Running LUA method 'packetReceived'."

I first thought this was due to the update resetting the task list, but after completely rebuilding my tasks from scratch I had a bug where the tasks in a group duplicated itself after renaming the group (hoped it would fix itself, but i later saw that the tasks were duplicated in the tasklist.xml as well). Thus I tried to reconnect to the server and the tasks were gone. Logs show the error stated above.

Here are my task lists from before the update and after the update, where I added new groups:

I was able to resolve this issue by manually removing all tasks which are dependent on any production / husbandry building.

Thanks for the report. At the end where you say resolved, are you able to re add husbandry or production tags with no issue from there onwards?

I’m in the midst of a house move so it’ll likely be next week but I’ll rent a server again to try and replicate the error. I don’t really understand why it’s happening and one issue I have with those tasks is I can’t simply take tasklist.xml and test because it will remove any tasks associated with placeables not in my save game.

I was able to add the husbandry / production tasks using the GUI once I was ingame again. I tried rejoining the server right now and it seems to work fine:)

Maybe there is an issue in interpreting the old values in the new version? Sadly I'm quite the noob when it comes to Lua and I did not have time yet to properly look at the code.
