VPN is not working

**Device:** Poco F1
**ROM:** Pixel Experience 10 Plus, July release
 **Kernel:** NGK 1.5.5 

When using stock PE+ kernel (Silvercore 6.1) VPN connection works, but when using NGK I cannot connect to any VPN service - manually, nor via app.
